A $40.3M FEMA-funded rebuild following Hurricane Katrina, designed to stronger structural standards. During construction, Hurricane Isaac drove a $25M builder's risk insurance claim — approved, repaired, and delivered for the August 2013 school year.
Phase 1 redevelopment of Miami's downtown waterfront — pedestrian access, walkways, vehicular drop-off, and a new bay walk and promenade connecting Biscayne Boulevard to Biscayne Bay. ~$10M, completed 2013.
A $30M mixed-use development in Wicker Park — 35 luxury residential apartments above ground-floor retail, plus a 75-space underground parking garage, contributing to the neighborhood's revitalization along Division Street.
A centralized hub for the maintenance of tugs, ground vehicles, and non-aircraft equipment. 28 vehicle bays (20 American, 8 Envoy), supporting up to 140 mechanics — wash bays, loading docks, paint booth, and specialized HVAC and chemical-waste systems.
A joint venture with Kiewit eliminating slow zones — 65,000 new composite ties, 28,000 track feet of new rail, and additional repairs across 105,000 track feet total. Train speeds restored from 5–10 MPH to 55 MPH along the entire project.
